The continuity in the medical aid appearing is one of the main terms in
arrangement of the medical aid rendering according to the “shore-sea-shore”
principle.
This problem is settled by the combined work of flagman doctors and ship
department medical staff. Six doctors work in the Northern basin. Every
doctor carries out his own fleet work - trade, fishery and river.
The teaching of fleet command staff is carried out in the Northern Medical
Center. They are taught the following: the rules of sick and suffered medical
care, the control for sanitary and epidemiologic health on the board, the
skills of medical consultations providing at sea via radio and satellite
communication.
